i had that to happen to me a few months ago and i called also because i was supposed to go to court. when i called they told me it was not in the system to call back later, so i waited 1 week until my court date and called back and they told me that my record was clean and that i dont have to go to court unless i recieve something in the mail telling me to. i didnt recieve anything and didnt go. and just a few weeks ago i got a letter in the mail telling me that i missed my court date. now i am in trouble. so, i hope that helps.

Do not think that it won't show up. If they keep telling you that it hasn't shown up when your court date arrives then you need to go to court. It is still going to be on the docket for that day and the officer will be there. If you do not show up even though you have tried to pay the ticket you can still be held in contempt of court and a warrant will be put out for your arrest and in some states they revoke your drivers license too. Keep trying and if you do end up going to court take the amount of the ticket and about 75.00 to 100.00 extra with you for court costs. You might not have to pay it because of the situation but then again you might get a mean judge who makes you pay it anyway. But what ever you do don't ignore it. It will come back to bite you in the butt. GOOD LUCK

What is your court date? In most cases you need to appear in court on that date or have the ticket paid before that date, or have completed driving school before then. So, keep track of who you talked to and when you talked to them in case they try to charge you with missing the court date. See what your options are for school or paying!

Just keep your eye out, my friend had the same thing happen, but she got it a month later. But, it sounds like you may have gotten lucky and took the right steps by calling them. I would just wait it out. If it doesn't show up, it doesn't show up.

it would show up on your court date. usually everyone pays their fine and gets over it-- but not me--- i have a court date for going 83 in a 65 and i said not guilty and had a pre-trial conference last month. my court date is in Sept and i have been following it online-- step by step. ill try to keep you up to date if i can to tell you if i win or not.

If the officer didn't have you sign the ticket than it will be dismissed. That happen to me once. Check your ticket and see if you signed it.
