Sara, why are you so obsesses with Sex & Sin? There is no original sin? It's all myths.

I'm not Christian but according to the Catholic bible, sex isn't a sin at all. Adam was made, then Eve from his ribs, and they were meant to be fruitful. The original sin, according to the Catholic bible, was disobedience.
Humm... maybe I should start reading the Christain bible.

I think they got their wires crossed.
That by Adams' sin, ( original sin - i.e. where it originated ) through procreation, the fall and sin were transmitted unto all of us.
And ... sure I do! ( Know the scripture )

O.K., the concept of Original Sin, has nothing to do with the first sin ever committed by man. It is in reference to your Origins, which are sinful. Look up the meaning of the word.

You are correct, as someone else already stated - the original sin was disobedience to God. (That is what ALL sin is.)
I *believe* you are referring to pop culture which makes reference to Original Sin as sexual in nature. It has been over-generalized because Eve was the first sinner. And, since we are all children of Eve, we are all born into sin.
I *know* someone else will be able to find all the specific references, hope that it helps in general though!

Eating the apple was the original sin. Sex was the punishment (before that, Adam and Eve were just expeceted to live alone forever)

Gee, Sara, take a chill. I don't know where you heard SEX was the "ORIGINAL SIN" it wasn't. But, then, you know that by now. And you also see not only us christians know our BIBLE, a lot of non-christians know it also. Sorry you got so bashed. Bless you.

The original sin was disobedience. Adam & Eve were told to eat of any tree in the Garden of Eden except of one: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
How selfish they were.

I know sex was not the origanial sin, what do you think I am, an idiot? The first sin was when Eve ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Then she gave Adam some fruit and he ate of it and that was the second sin.

It was for the apple in the garden of evil..dissobediance againts G-d.
