ok, well yea, i just installed limewire like... 5 hours ago, and it still wont open!!! idk why, i tried reinstalling java, it didnt work, and ive alreeady tried to reinstalled it before, twice, cuz once, i cleaned up the registry and then installed it again, and it still didnt worked. and then just reinstalled it again. im using ares, and ive used both of these before at the same time wit no problems, until i reinstalled windows, anyone got a idea of wat i can do? thank you

Try getting frostwire instead. I'm not really quite sure why but a lot of my friends have been having problems with limewire lately and said that frostwire is better.

I have LimeWire too! I do not really know much about your problem but try and go to the FAQ section of limewire.com . Hope I helped!

be careful with limewire, my daughter had the same problem not so long ago and it was a ( bug ). be aware limewire has to many viruses.. that bug in limewire crashed our computer. ... good luck... install ( bit torrent ) instead... Good luck.

Sometimes it takes a while. Make sure no other programs are running in the background. Especially Norton or Mcafee. Have you restarted your computer and then tried it again?

do you need to have an updated computer to even use limewire?
oo!! it might be because the RIAA is trying to shutdown limewire now. they are trying to get them to pay $150,000.00 for each illegally downloaded song..so it might be in the process to do that. go with what someone said before and just get somethin else

when you went through the set up for limewire did you set your router to pass through? or did you bridge the connections?

i have do try to download it two times look and see do you have the new one then see if you got the one for your computer if it is for xp,mac or 2000 then download

it depend on ram like 20gb it will not aford ,200gb.250gb,limewire will be open
