Not that I am aware of. In order to be a Christian, one who follows Jesus Christ, one believes and trusts in what he said and what he taught. He did claim to be the son of God. Other religions interpret his teachings according to their own doctrines instead of reading the bible and finding out what it says about him. The main teaching of the bible is that Jesus, the son of God, died on the cross, was raised back to life three days later, according to the scriptures and has assended back into heaven. This is what the early followers of Jesus testified to and even gave their lives for. Or as modern day christians say, "God sent his son to save the world." It is still true today as then. He is the sacrifice, or the propitiation for our sins. This was God the Fathers plan. We do have the choice to believe his plan or not.

If that were the case, then the word Christian loses all it's meaning. Jesus himself said that He was always God, is always God and will always be God (Jn. 1)...not a messenger of God, not one god of many gods, not a good man, not an enlightened seer and prophet, not the archangel Michael...either Jesus is God, or He isn't. Those who believe that He is God the Son are Christians.

Well, yes it is possible.
Some people who call themselves Christians.... because they were raised in a community church by Christians... COULD actually have trouble believing that Jesus is the Son of God.
But, if they are TRUE Christians, then, no, they should not think that way.
What they truly believe is between them and God.

You cannot be a christian and not believe that Jesus was the Son of God, it's IMPOSSIBLE! In order to be a christian, you must accept that Jesus was the son of God and that he died on the cross for our sins.

The whole point of christianity is that Jesus was/is the son of God. Islam, however, does see Jesus as a prophet, not as the son (I think).

I rather doubt it because believing that Jesus is God's son is pretty much the basis for Christianity.

The message is more important than the messenger...
Christians are so hung on Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.....and forgot the message.
