The main rule of thumb to follow for weddings is not to wear white, because that's traditionally what the bride wears, and you don't want to wear anything that draws attention away from the bride. Your dress sounds pretty, and appropriate. But you're still not supposed to look as good as the bride.

Sounds perfect to me. Shoes that are black or the same color blue would be great. If you wear black shoes, they have some great hose in all sorts of patterns that would dress up the outfit. Don't forget a dress purse!

Wear whatever you want. Since the wedding is at noon it will probably be a more casual affair anyway.

I can't see a problem with it - the only thing I would stay away from is anything that may look like the bridesmaids or a wedding dress...other than that, you're fine.

I was thinking the same thing! OH wait, I'm wrong....I was thinking if it was ok to wear a purple thong, with a light blue tank top, and striped green socks to a funeral...in May

The more important issue is what is the material. If it is a summer weight material (and not cut up to your *** and down to your navel), then you are fine.

You can wear whatever you want....The stuffy rules have long gone. If you feel good in the dress wear it.
