To all that chose to answer this question, Please give me more in details,or proof to the fact..I have lived this life 47 years and Steven King , has no visions like mine in this matter.

Some people believe we are born with a veil that makes us not be aware of the past lives we had before.

I was born in the vail or cual as they call it.
when I was 6yrs old I fell into a lake, It was winter and I was walking on the ice. I saw some cat-tails growing out of the water. I went to pick them and did not realize that they were in thin ice. I fell into the lake up to my neck. I had boots and snow suit on. I pulled myself out of the lake. I could have drown. To this day I dont know how I did it.Being born in the vail probably saved my life. Hope this helps believe its true. Ally

This means a vail that will not let you see the truth. How I had mine removed symbolically was pray from the heart to God to help me and give me the knowledge I needed to understand. I have since then grown to love God with all my heart.

I agree with previous answers regarding our not seeing our past lives; and, I will add the veil shileds us from full knowledge of God, the Divine, the Spirit Realm, et. al., which we were fully aware prior to physical birth.

I heard that it meant you were going to be psychic. It is a real membrane that is cut away. Other than that I do not know. You just have to wait and see how this child develops and if he has any special gifts from God.

the veil is something that can't be seen. the veil keeps us from knowing our past existence in the premortal life. It's to challenge us to see how will do on this earth.

It means that you are born with part of your mother's membranes from the bag of water covering your face.....Some cultures have superstitions as to what it means, but I am not aware of what those are.
