He's a pretty reserved guy,but he's a great person.I am one of those very few who really got to know him.In time this became more than friendship.He tells me that he loves me very much,and so far I don't have reasons to believe that he's not honest...Still,how can I make sure he really tells the truth?...

just wait it out, I think that if he really loves you, you'll know it and he'll do plenty of things to show it. It sounds to me like he's being honest :)

Edina, many people think that the word "LOVE" is a noun (person, place or thing). As a result they buy into the words they hear allowing themselves to respond in an emotional manner. As time unfolds the person feels differently to what their partner expresses, thus creating self-doubt and a sense of confusion. The reality is that the word "LOVE" is a verb. We behave in a loving manner and through our consistant behavior the person to whom our affections are directed feels secure and safe in the knowledge that we are sincere. Remember that no one is perfect and it's okay if on occassion, I'm not behaving as the most loving person. I also give the same opporunitiy to my wife. We must review our expectations placed on others to ensure we are not placing our partners or ourselves in a position to fail.

Trust is pivotal to a relationship. There is no way to know if he loves you as much as he says he does. You either trust him to tell you the truth or you don't.

well to me he sounds honest but the choice of believing him is up to you we cant change your mind
