Not in any way at all , actually. An angry mob has to be on time to where they are mobbing. Evangelicals have issues with getting to Church or Church functions on time. As well an angry mob would have to agree on who or what to mob. This is very difficult for a group of Evangelicals. And, although you may think we carry torches in our glove boxes, this is a modern day fallacy.
So...no.

**do evangelicals remind you of an angry mob w/ torches?

No, not unless they're after me.

Have a blessed day.

When you refer to evengelicals you're referring to hundreds of thousands of people. I'm sure few of them resemble angry mobs with torches. You should try to be less judgemental of large groups based on the actions of the few you've encountered.

No, they remind me a wonderful elementary teacher. Patiently, lovingly, trying to teach her class the truth because she loves them. Not all are this way, and I apologize for them if you've been treated rudely. True believers in Jesus Christ strive to be similar to what I've described above.

Dear Dillinger,

May I ask where you got this perception? Why not read the Bible yourself and ask God for understanding? You see there is no one who is without sin. We are all vile, rotten sinners deserving of God's wrath. But the Lord (Jesus Christ) is His great mercy decided to save a few of these rascals. Not one single person deserves to be saved, but God in His great mercy and longsuffering determined to save some of His creation by enduring hell to pay for those "elect" whom He chose. You could be one of those chosen, I do not know. However, one does not bring the Gospel by judging other people. There is one judge who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? Le the Lord speak to you through His word-the Bible.

Actually, they remind me of rioters who are mad over Mohammed cartoons, but they don't actually kill anyone. Scary to be sure.
