I know that to maintain your weight it is recommened that you eat take in 2,000 calories a day, and to loose weight that you take in about 1,600 calories a day. Also, I have heard that you should burn about 200 calories a day. but how many do you have to burn before loosing a pound?

You cannot lose a pound of fat unless you burn off 3500 calories!

my sister n law is a wight instructor and she told me to burn five hundred calories a day to loose weight. that is based on a 2000 calorie diet . hope that helps!!!
