Friends of Trees will also provide a glass sun catcher etched with the name of the person being honored and the year when the tree is planted. You can choose between several kinds of yard trees.

The sun catcher you receive when you order a Commemorative Yard Tree has an image of a tree on one side and the name of the person being honored and the date of the planting etched on the other side.

YOU ARE----my father passed away a few years ago,he was living in OHIO, I moved to TEXAS so I realy did not have a place to sit that was dads....so I could find comfort.....talking to the air almost landed me in a rubber room..my nabors did not know... that summer in a flower pott that was tossed in with some garden tools..began to spout a little green stem...no clue..I just let it keep growing..one day the lady next door ask me what it was--with out looking I answerd dont realy know,but at a glance I recognized the sapling of an ASH TREE .... My father fought with its parent tree at our house in Ohio for as long as I can remember ....It was a summer ritual....to watch DAD do more damedg to himself then to that (DAMN TREE) he so lovinly called it !! Of course once I realized what it was I begane to cry and I satt down next to the pott and I was at home with dad....when his birthday rolled around it was realy hard for me being the oldest I planed his party every year....that year,well I guess you can guess the rest !!! I put the (Damned ASH Tree ) in the ground and every year I plant a new tree on his birthday for him, if your ever in Seagovill TX south bound 635 at the Stark Rd. exit. Pass the Hong Knog Kitchen you will see four rows of aparment buildings..the secound row all the way down to the end of the drive way you will see the most beautifull Damned ASH Tree you will ever see !!!!
