I would suggest in the morning for a couple reasons.
It will help you start your day, wake you up, and give you energy!
Also if you exercise in the evening it may make it hard for you to fall asleep.
Also if you have a hard time getting motivated doing it right after you are awake means its out of the way and now you can focus on other activities.
If you keep putting it off thru out the day it may never get done.

If you exercise in the morning, you know you'll be able to fit in the time to do so. At night, you may get tired from working and decide not to; or something more important might come up.

I like to do light excercise in the morning and lift weights in the evening.

AM-if you have time during the morning its good, since you'lll be more energized during the day!!
PM-usually when its more convinient for me! i like it but if i'd have time in the morning i would much rather do that since during my evenings time fly's and i have not much time left to hang out.
