If you were indeed pregnant it can mean one of two things-
1-You did lose the baby
or
2-You are having bleeding(some women continue to have periods when pregnant)and you shouldcontact your DR. ASAP!

You know, at first I saw this question, and felt bad because of all the mean answers you were getting. I figured you to be some poorly educated adolescent that actually just needed someone to explain a few facts to you. However, I saw what you answered to someone else, and have come to the sad realization that you are much like the "bullies" (as I call them) when it comes to others. You know enough about the body to know whether or not you lost a baby. Also, you're plenty old enough to have read the bible to have a decent hold of a spiritual answer to that question.
However, shame on you for your demeaning characterization of others. You ask a question that you know you know the answer to, and others that are reaching out and asking for true advice because they're having such difficulty seeing what would be best for themselves, you admonish.
I pray for you. I pray that you can see the pain you can unleash on others by your lack of sensitivity and tack. I pray that you may never feel the pain that others are feeling because of you. I pray that you truly do see the light. God help you.

Is this some kind of joke? Do you really not know about basic human reproduction? Geez--go get a book or something. Ask your mommy where babies come from.
No, you shed your uterine lining when a pregnancy didn't occur, so all you're losing is an unfertilized egg and the lining that was there in case you actually did get pregnant. I hope you just have a bad sense of humor and you're not actually that stupid.

If you are asking regarding the right to life issue. no it means you had an unfertilized cell. If you are asking what the pro-lifers believe we believe it's life begins at the time of conception. So, no baby involved.
If you are asking a health related question, it is very possible to have a period during a pregnancy.

If you are sure you are/were pregnant, than you could be miscarrying. I bled once at 8 weeks pregnant and ended up with a healthy baby. You need to see a doctor asap.

No, unless you were pregnant right BEFORE you're period, you did not lose a baby, because there wasn't one in the first place!

Heh heh. No, it means you didn't fertilize an egg. Why would you want a baby if you were young enough to have just gotten your period?

only if you had sex and the egg you released a couple weeks ago was fertilized. But im guessing since you are asking this question the answer to that would be no.

No. The egg is just half of the genetic information needed to create a child.

There is some chance you had an ovum fertilized, but not implanted in the uterine wall.
