Everyone is on some level. We've all told at least one racial joke. Said "that fill-in-the-race guy" instead of just "that guy". Pre-judged someone based on a stereo-type alone.

Not on purpose or maliciously, but just because we "didn't mean anything by it", or "were just joking". You don't have to be trying" to hurt or belittle someone to be racist.

It goes back to our individual upbringing, our community, friends and relatives growing up, TV, school.

Even that little comment you made about the "French stay cheesy" could be interpreted as racist.

From mild to hot and spicy, Racism comes in different flavors and intensity just like the many sauce options at favorite multi-sauce option wing restaurant.

I hate to admit it but I think I am on some level. The thing is, I would help someone if they needed help regardless of their race. However, if a black man is walking up to my car I probably will check to make sure my doors are locked. But if a white man did, I'd probably roll my window down to see what he wanted.

It sucks that I think like this and I hate that I do, but I grew up in a all white neighborhood with racist parents. I try to keep an open mind and I appreciate your question. Maybe its true what they say: the first step is admitting you have a problem. I hope I can fix my racist issues.

I like to think I'm not a racist. My Step father was a big time racist, and I was raised hearing it. I disliked that he thought he was better just because of a skin tone. I try to put all that stuff away from me and for the most part suceed. But occasionaly I have a thought that I know I souldn't have. Just for the record I wouldn't have a problem dating someone of another race and if my children date someone of another race I would be happy to welcome them in my home as long as they were good people. (Meaning, being respectful and having manners)

You can find out the truth at

They have a whole battery of testing based on Just Notice-able differences et al.

Have fun!

My personal belief is that we all are racist.Say what you want, but you get pissed when jose at taco bell screws up your order.I love it very much when people up and down-SWEAR they are not..but they have never really entrenched themselves within a minority..Or they say they're not,but would never date a black guy.

Fact is-that it is preferential and it will vary from person to person. What is important is that we respect each other and let everyone express themselves-no matter what their views are.Because the same right that affords you your preference should be the same right that affords everyone elses.

it depends on how u define racism, as long as am concerned we all have a little racism in us, argue all u want. no matter wat or how, the fact that someone has a different skin colour than us,kinda gives us some little, a lil nudge inside. that tiny nudge u feel, IS RACISM...and that's ma definition. holla!
