In Rev. chap. 7 in the sealing of the 12000 from each tribe. Why has the tribe of Dan been replaced by the tribe of Manassa?

There are several theories. The two most likely are these:
1) The anti-Christ is from the tribe of Dan. Because the anti-Christ will allow the Jews to rebuild the Temple, they will believe him to be their long-awaited Messiah. That is, until he steps into the Temple and proclaims himself to be God. (Cf. Daniel 9:27 & II Thessalonians 2:4)
2) Dan was the first tribe of Israel to descend into idolatry. They were the first as a tribe to become apostate. (Judges 18:13ff)

Among those twelve tribes as named in Revelation 7:4-8 there is no tribe of Dan included. Instead, we find included the tribe of Manasseh. The original Manasseh was a nephew of Dan and was born in Egypt as the son of Joseph. Hence he was a grandson of Jacob. However, Jacob said that Manasseh was to have a separate territory in the land of Israel the same as Jacob’s direct sons. (Gen. 48:13-20) Among the twelve tribes of spiritual Israel a tribe of Joseph is listed. Hence the tribe of Joseph’s son Manasseh must have taken the place of Dan’s tribe.

The tribe of Dan particularly displeased God by a battalion of 600 men recruiting an idol-worshipping priest. This occurred in the hill country of Ephraim, town of Laish. The perverted version of Judaism endorsed by Micah, become Dan's form of worship since he became personal priest for the entire tribe. This twisted priest made his own idols which was completely forbidden by Mosaic Law since G-d is the only one to be worshipped.
By this act, the Tribe of Dan removed themselves from their incredible inheritance and supernatural protection during "The Time of Jacob's Trouble".

This should be one clue that John is not talking about literal Jews. He is speaking of spiritual Jews, who are believers in Christ, have a circumcision of the heart not the flesh, obtain the new covenant with the law in their hearts not just on tables of stone, keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus, are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise, seek for a city not built by human hands but by God, are part of the body of Christ with Jesus as the head.
Clearly, God is not concerned with your nationality, but in your love service to him and to your fellow humans. By accepting Christ as your savior you are adopted into the family of God. Therefore, birth nationality no longer matters. All are one in Christ. In Revelation, John is talking about spiritual Jews seeing that 10 of the tribes of Israel were lost hundreds of years before Christ was born. Each tribe name has a meaning. By studying the meanings for yourself, you can find out some characteristics of that tribe name. Each of the tribes represents a group of people who will be sealed by the angels for God prior to the second coming of Christ.

He is passed over because the tribe of Dan was the first to fall into idolatry. Because he misses out on the supernatural protection, he has to survive by his own wits. But then He gets to inherit first when Jesus comes back.
