Any time you lift weights, or do very heavy workouts, you put little hairline tears in your muscles. Usually your muscles need about 48 hours afterwards to heal, before putting them through this same kind of workout again. The cardio in between will be fine, but I probably would take one of your weight days and use it for the bag.

If I read the question right, you're asking if it's okay to add 4 or 5 3-minute rounds with the heavy bag once a week in addition to your 2 days of lifting and 3 days of cardio. Your Saturday punching session is not immediately before or after a day of lifting, so you should be okay.
But, not knowing anything about your age, health/physical limitations, workout routine, etc. makes your question difficult to answer with any certainty, so if what you're doing causes more than muscle pain (like sore joints, etc), back off.

I would spread the weightlifting out a little or add one more day of it. If you are young, 3 times a week would be best. I am older, so I try to get 5 days in a 2 week span.

Hey there, packman.
If muscles are what you want, buy this book.
http://www.precisiontraining.com/
Read some reviews about it and then buy it. You can't get better advice that Pete Sisco gives in that book. The material is revolutionary. If you want to train smart, buy Lifetime Strength. It is far and away the best way to go. I use it myself and am more than pleased with it.
Believe me, it's good stuff! He doesn't hide anything. Nothing he says in his book is this-worked-for-me-hocus-pocus.
Good luck!

he metabolic powers certain foods have to make your body burn far more body fat.” It is a way of rating foods, based on “how several calories your body is going to burn just breaking down the nutrients each and every time you consume a certain food.”
Therefore, you are not alone in this battle.
