well my GF is always really really shy.... and like she will get realy mad at me if i mess up her make up... and i she just wont beleive i will love her with or without make up.... and she likes 2 diss herself.... and all i wanna do is help her be hapier and more incouraged..... so what do u do 2 help her get away from this low self esteem???

i used to be just like that! it just takes time, does she know that she has a problem with it? if she does then she is probably trying to fix it! just talk to her and remember to always tell her she is beautifully inside and out!!!! other than that i really dont know what to say, she is the only one that can fix it, maybe she has low self esteem because of friends or old relationships, whatever it is im sure with a great guy like you by her side she will be able to get over it!!! you can email me if you want, my email is sexi_lexi_656@yahoo.com!! i hope all this helps!!! Sometimes you have to tell someone that they're beautiful a million times before they will believe it. Sometimes something in their past makes them believe less of themselves. If you really like this girl, be forewarned that low self esteem isn't something that just goes away. I'm a big supporter of therapy, but it doesn't work if the person doesn't want it.
Girls are taught that they are always in competition - with other girls, with media images, with other people's ideas of what they should be like (their parent's ideas, etc.) It's not something that just goes away.
Be as supportive as you can, just know that you can't fix the issue, she has to do that herself.

She has a really low self esteem, and she's afraid that you won't like her if she's herself. I don't see why you wouldn't, cause that wouldn't be right. Most guys do go after girls that have good looks, and we think we have to try harder to be something we're not. I don't, and I found out that guys like that also. So, I'm not afraid.

I doubt you will get through to her. It sounds like she means to impress others and not just you. Don't be surprised if you tire of having a "china doll" for a girlfriend. It's how she feels about herself and the only one who can change her self-image is herself. Maybe that's just who she is and it makes her feel good. So if you're not into someone with all that goop on, you should consider finding someone more natural. Only you can determine that for yourself.

first of all she knows what she has to offer but she likes the attention you are giving her, stop telling her all the nice stuff you tell her now and you will see that she will act differently to no attention and change her way.
If that is not the case then compliment her more often and don't pay much attention to the outcomes when she sees you will keep complimenting her it will be like second nature and allow her self to take it and very well help her self-esteem.

Give up on the make-up right now. Girls are taught from age 0 that they must wear make-up to be normal. It's so deeply put in girl culture that it is just that way.
For other self esteem.....say nice things to her, support her, praise her, complement her, and such. The idea is to make her feel better, without saying that in words.

Not all girls are like that. She has very low self confidence and esteem.
She needs to work on it and only she can help herself.

just make sure to remind her of everything you like about her, and try to make her seem noticed a lot. Let her know that you care much more about her than just her looks, and that you think she's just as beautiful without makeup. It may be hard, but you should be able to boost her self-esteem.

Have you seen what is thrown at women as to what is the perfect body, hair, woman out there? I feel the same way as your girlfriend, don't leave the house without perfect makeup or decent hair. No one out there will look at me if I have on sweat pants and no makeup! Keep telling her how you feel and have patience. She will believe and trust in you sooner or later, I've changed at least around my husband.

Well this is a tough one. What i would do is ask her y she is always dissing herself. Then you would know y she is so self conscious then you would see it more from her point of view.
