SOME DR'S AND PEOPLE WANT'S FOR YOU TO BELIEVE THAT REALLY IS NO CURE FOR ANY TYPE OF MENTAL ILLINESS. DR'S WANTS MONEY, AND MONEY, EXPENSIVE COST OF MEDICATION IF YOU DON'T GET IT FROM THE GOVERNMENT. WHY THEY DON'T TELL YOU THE SECRET OF HOW TO OVERCOME YOUR SICKNESS. (Sickness created by you, by sending the wrong message to your subconscious mind power) If you want to get better, do it the right way, start teaching your self how to use your mind correctly, how to send the correct messages. How long do they last, all depend on you. Human brain is the most powerful organ in your body. the hardest thing to go through in your life? Is not knowing how to use your mine correctly.

Hunny, everything began with Power of The Mind. For those of you who have not heard of Napoleon Hill he was one of the early teachers of the power of the mind. The basic principle is that whatever your mind can imagine it can create. How does it do this? What your mind thinks, sees, believes, feels is all sent to your subconscious mind power. it's great partner. Your Subconscious then works with the universe and creates your reality based on the messages that began in your mind. But its not enough to simply imagine it and then hope it happens. That's not the way it works. If you can imagine it you can achieve it but you need to know how to use the power of your mind. Your mind can create wonderful things for you if you know how to use it and how to send the right messages to your subconscious. Most people don't know how to do this. Instead, you go through life never really using the power of your mind.

Did you know that doctors now firmly believe that 75% of all sickness and disease start in the mind? 75-Percent! That's a very large amount. That means that 75% of all the people who are sick today -- are only sick because they did not know how to use their mind. Doctors will even tell you that most sickness and disease are caused by stress. This is another event that starts in the mind. Scientists have long said that we only use 10% of our mind. 10-percent that's it. Think of going through life only spending 10-percent of your salary? Could you do it? No! Yet you go through life only using 10% of your mind. That 10-percent is creating 75% of all sickness because we don't even know how to use it properly. Now imagine if you just used 10% of our mind correctly? What would happen? What would happen if we learned to use 90% of our mind correctly? The results would be astounding! Your mind is an incredible power but no one ever taught you how to use this power. Throughout your entire life you've been taught how to do everything but no one ever taught you how to use your mind. Creating Power teaches you how to use your the power of your mind. I'm not saying that if you work with the Creating Power System you'll start using all of your mind correctly. But I do know that you'll begin using the power of your mind to its full potential and that is enough to create the change you want. Would you drive a car if you didn't know how to drive? No. You would have someone teach you. Why then would you try to use the power of your mind when you don't know how? Yet you do it everyday and you get the results that you don't want. If you want to change your life. If you want to use your mind correctly and utilize all its power then you need the Creating Power System. And it's completely Guaranteed!

I was with a severe depression for 10 years. Partial schizophrenia, Bipolar, living with pain...Taking 7 types of different anti-depression medication, Pain killers, sometimes more. No to mention Hospitalized many times for attempts of suicide. Expensive medication that I coudn't afford...

Just remember one thing. Medication in today’s culture is set by people who want to sell them. " Is not like in old days " Dr's get a kick back from them, also medication can make you even more depress if you take to much or the wrong kind. It can affect you and many different ways.

You can do it, because I did it. I am Free of Medication and Worries.

Remember... Creating Power System, Create Power.

Best.

The psych will probably give you a different medication. Lexapro is used to treat depression. Xanax can be very addictive, you may not want that problem.

I suggest that you seek some counseling on a regular basis if you can. Psych drugs are not a cure all. Some psych meds have side effects that will go away before you are able to feel the full benefit of your treatment.

I'm not a doctor, so I can't tell you if you need your meds or not. People do get help from therapist without the use of psych drugs and that can be very effective if applied the right way. On the other hand, don't rule the meds out completely.

Get on the web and read about different approaches to therapy and consider what would work better for you. Get involved and explain to your psych about different ways that you can get better.

I would not discontinue Xanax if its helping you, But Lexapro?
If you are experiencing these kinds of symptoms - you really
need to see your Dr., it is possible you just may need a lower
dose. But if you do try that and still have the problems - contact
him right away - that's not good.

I take Cymbalta its very good. I have Borderline Personality
Disorder and Depression and this drug has helped me alot.
It's a new drug & you will hear about it when you hear the commercial "where does depression hurt?" I think its great.

Yes, if you are depressed the meds are needed. I found this out
the hard way. Took that St. John's Wart? I got sick. It really is
not a substitue for a good drug. If you improve and he cuts you
back thats great, but if you have depressive symptoms you do
need the meds. Sorry. Hope this helps.

See if you can get the doctor who prescribed the Leaxpro to give you a lower dose. Psychiatrist give medications. My husband is the one with depression and panic disorder. He tried 5 different anti- depressants and 3 anti-anxiety meds before they got it right. NEVER! quit taking these type of medications without advice of a doctor. If you are only taking the Xanax when you need it try taking just half of a tablet and see that helps with out feeling so sleepy. I am glad that you recognize that you have a problem and are getting the help you need.

My husband has an anxiety disorder. The meds were hard on him too at first. They all take a little time to get adjusted to. I would give your meds a little more time to get adjusted because side effects tend to lessen or completely go away. My husband tried Zoloft first though and he has had great sucess with that. Although I have heard that Lexapro is a great medication. Call your Dr, tell him/her what is going on with the meds, I bet he/she helps! Good Luck!

Xanax is highly addictive, but it sure makes you feel good so it is easy tto like this drug and get addicted to it. I have a freind that has been taking it for 15 years and her doctors are now trying to wean her slowly off of it because of research is proving , it's not good. I have twin bi-polar daughters who take lexipro and it is prescribed for chemical brain imbalance it is not addictiveb but you must take it daily as prescribed or it doesn't work. Also you can't mix it with other drugs or it will give you a sick stomach. My daughters both are pot smokers an if they do it while taking Lexipro they get nausea and vomiting. So they quit smoking and were diligent about taking the lexipro and and are doing better

I've been on every anxiety pill made and have had terrible side effects. I've had panic attacks since I was probaly three or four years old! My advice is to try to stay away from pills. My experience they have made me more nervous, depressed or had suicidal thoughts! I can't tell you personally what to do cause everybody's body is different but I would take the Xanax when needed and continue therapy sessions. I found playing with my hair even unfortunately sometimes getting it in knots and ripping it out helps as well as breathing techniques I learned in lamaze class.

First of all, you don't take the Xanax when you're starting to feel panic, you should be taking it 2, or 3 x's a day, or however prescribed by your doc. It stops the panic before it begins. I've took xanax for years, and just switched to Klonopin twice a day, and it helps me so much more. Plus, I take effexor. It's a great mixture for me, and for the first time in a long time, I'm feeling like the "real" me. Good Luck. ~

Behavioural therapies and coping mechanisms are better for treating panic and anxiety disorders long term. Xanax and such can help but only temporarily, and then you can be left with an addiction on top of the disorder. You must learn to behave and react differently if you want your life to be different. You will find an avenue to do that when you are ready.

I stop taking my meds over a year ago and the therapy didn't work. My family is aware of my anxiety and that helps a lot but not nearly enough. If your meds work for you, you should take it as prescribe and let your psy know. Best of luck.

I know where you are at. I am a Vietnam Veteran and am on Klonopin and Celexa. they help me a great deal along with my VA counselor. There is no shame in receiving meds if they will help along with professional counseling. You need to consult with your Dr. about changing doses, and see what they say. I wish you well, honestly. Good luck. Hang in there. I rarely get out because of my PTSD.
