While I have read the Quran [sic] and the Christian Bible and the Torah and the Tanakh and the Avesta texts the Kŏng jiào and The Edicts of Ashoka - I have found from my own life that what a person says and does means more than what doctrine they -claim- to follow. I form my own opinions based on the actions and words of individuals, I do not think that grouping people into wide generalizations according to their religion, or their race, their nation or their heritage, their sex or any other attribute or characteristic is sufficient - the whole person must be considered in context with how they live their life. To do otherwise is to judge before knowing the truth and is therefore pre-judice. That said; if it is an urgent matter of life and death, sometimes we must guess at the nature of a person, and if we err then it is better to have given them the benefit of the doubt, is it not?

Well, let me tell you this, we have had so many discussion about Islam that I have finally decided that I will get to know more about it. In that regard you have a few pluses to your argument. However, the heat you are getting is from the perceived belief system based on the actions around the world.

Great point, like muslims for example, who are the most illiterate people in the world and defer to their imams, following them like sheep.
