I'm in the same boat as you...all year long..there are several things that will help..steam( get a bowl put some salt in it, and boiling water and a towel over your head )..warm tea, or chicken noodle soup..peppermint..saline spray ( you can buy this at any drug store ) warm compresses on your sinuses..wet a towel and put it in the microwaves for a few seconds,..decongestants, if you can take them. benadryl for the allergy part of it. nothing can permanently help it, but those things should all relieve the symptoms.

Alternate b/w steam and cold-- ie, over the steamer, then into the freezer. The steam will moisten the secretions, and the cold will shrink up the mucous membranes. Take some Sudafed, and after 4 hrs take a short-acting antihistamine (Benadryl, Chlortrimeton), then after it wears off take another Sudafed. Taking both at once will cause them to "cancel each other out".

Try some hot peppermint tea or rub some Vicks vapor rub under your nose. You can also get some Mucinex from the store it will also help to loosen the congestion. Drink plenty of water because this will help to loosen the secretions so that they can be coughed up and out.

yes, but you might also get a steam burn! Try Vicks Vapor Rub -- it's amazing. Also, breathe right strips are amazing.
finally, there are some salons that offer special massages to unclog sinus pressure. They really do work and they're a nice treat when you're not feeling well.
Feel better!!!
