The measure of the human weight is body mass index.
The formula for the body mass index (BMI) is equal 703 multiplied by weight (in lbs) divided by (height in inches times heights in inches).
Your BMI = 703*140/(64.5*64.5) = 23.66
BMI for healthy female is between 18.5 to 25.o so it seems that you are within the range on the heavy side.
I think that you should try to loose 10 lbs to weight 130 lbs your BMI will be then about 22.0
Good luck.

"Supposed to weigh"...yeah this is a question that has stumped generations. Your going to receive a lot of numbers and health options but the only REAL answer is this. If you were born with a large body frame ( broad shoulders, no waist, heavy legs or arms) then you will eventually grow into it. Maintain your body by eating right and not over eating. If your mom like to cook high fat foods all the time then cut your plate in half. Now if you think that you can make changes in the way you eat or how much then maybe you do. Its going to be hard to change habits but the outcome is worth it. Your 14 and with effort you can change what you dislike. ...peace & love

I personally never go by the "weight per height" thing. People have different body types. Muscle weighs more than fat so someone really fit can be over the weight requirements of their height. I wouldn't pay attention too much to that and focus more on being healthy and looking how you want to look.

Well here goes.
At 5'2 you are considered thin if you weigh 106-118.
You're considered average if you weigh 115-129.
& last, you're considered large if you weigh 125-140.
Anything over 140 is considered "fat"

Don't worry about that now. I'm sure that you are fine. Go study for your exams or figure out what you want to be and which college you want to go to when you graduate. That's how young girls like yourself end up developing eating disorders.
