I'm sure you are at your wit's end, but hang in there... I'm sure you have heard all kinds of advise such as, bite them back so they can feel what it feels like, and how about the put some hot sauce on their tongue every time they bite. Well, I'm not going to say I agree with any of those crazy things. I am a mother and my child like most children has gone through her share of stages. She went through a stage where she would slap you in your face, and the stage where she would kick at you. She was just about the same age as your little one. I remember asking my husband, oh my goodness what kind of child is this, and what did we do to teach her to act this way. Well, my dear this is all normal behavior, and believe it or not it does not last long. Now that hopefully I gave you a little hope, here's my advise...Do not yell at him/her when they bite, just say ouch, and remove them from the situation. Make them sit alone for a while on a chair by themselves, or on their bed where they can not be near you. The less of a reaction that you give them, the better. They have to be able to count on with 100% accuracy that every time they bite, they will be alienated from everyone. In their little mind, they will eventually figure that if they bite, nobody will want to play with them. Have you ever had a puppy that chewed on hands? Dog trainers will tell you the same thing, if you remove the dog from where the action is, they will eventually figure out nobody will play with them if they don't play nice. Kids and puppies are a lot alike, they are both precious, and they both grow up too fast. I guarantee your baby will not be biting when he/she goes into highschool. Ha Ha. Enjoy that baby while you can.

This is a really had one because the twins are so young. I have seen several techniques used. One thing you could do is get some of the stuff that you put on your fingernails to discourage fingernail biting, and put this on the most often-bitten area. This stuff tastes awful but is harmless. Another mom I know used to make her son "bite himeself" whenever he bit his little brother (he used to make his little brother bleed when he bit him. I'm not sure how effective this is, but it is what she used. I am a total softie, so I couldn't do that! They should outgrow it soon though...they are still very, very young! Best of luck, and God bless!

i became into going to declare chew him returned, yet if you consider which you're already doing it ascertain he's time-honored with its no longer humorous with the aid of growling at him (telling him off) once you chew him, you will desire to inflict some soreness, no longer too lots, so he's time-honored with how lots it hurts. additionally get him to combine with as many different little ones as you are able to. it must be hes desiring extra interest than you're giving him. attempt introducing tickling alot and make a calming interest out of it he would exchange his habit from biting to tickling if all hes searching for is a reaction and/or interest. desire this helps I also have a 10 12 months previous son btw.

Bite back. At that age they don't realize what hurts you also hurts them. You need to bite them back after they bite someone so they can know how it feels. Trust me, biting back works wonders.
