Most parents should.....it's a very dangerous and sex filled place. It gets my negative vote for kids.

Since many of the "participants" obviously cannot make good decisions about what they should and should not post on Myspace and it has become such a dangerous place then I think they need to sut it down. If parents of young people would parent their children there wouldn't be a problem.

I really don't have a problem with my daughter being on MySpace. She is a responsible teen. She shows me her page. She utilizes the site to communicate with her friends. If she weren't so mature and focused, I would be wary of the site.

MY kids let me be on MYSPACE...and most of the time it sucks!
I have never seen so many rude people...
Not my girls but loads of creepy men and freaky nasty women...
It is not a place for little kids...try NEOPETS or something...

hey im 13 theres nothing wrong with myspace. so long as the kid doesnt use personal info and you can put parental controls on his/her myspsace if you know how to do that thing

i am 13 and have one. (everyone lies about their age~you have to be 14 and over). I only have one because others do and to keep in touch with friends you wouldnt really keep in touch with (classmates). i have mine on private (only friends may view) and do not put anything personal on it.
I wish they would just shut the whole site down. I hope parents go on like a protest or something

As long as there is no personal information shared ie:school, address, city, state, favorite hangout, etc. It's relatively harmless. However, the sickos out there can really make it dangerous for the kids.

You should always watch your child online,but I think myspace is full of sex predators out there waiting for little boys and girls.

I'll have to own up to that one. I have two sons 14 and 12 who live for that site and are pretty upset with me for blocking it from both of their computers. My children are rather responsible and let me check their computers weekly for viruses and to see what they are up to. I was mortified at what I found. They were having conversations with grown adults. One lady was coming to our town and couldn't wait to hang out with him and his friends. She was 42, she told them she was 15. This site needs to be shut down altogether. It's like a pedophiles dream come true.

My teenager is 14.She is definitly resticted from this web-site.I give her the alternative which is mypraise.com.A place where kids can hang and for the most i have seen it to be pretty decent.Good luck God bless:O)
