why are teens using herion and all that crap don't they know that they'll regret it later? And what's the percentage now?

this isnt a new phenomena, teens for decades experiment with drugs and alcohol.
Heroin use is pretty low across all age groups (less than 1%)
However most teens use alcohol, and marijuana, and cigarettes.
Its part of growing up, trying taboo things, self expression and exploration.
Im sure you were told certain things were bad for you but you still did them, thats the definition of teenager! :)

Alot of the people I know(in high school) use weed, vodka, ecstacy, shrooms, etc.
Only because they don't care right now or they're going through alot of things and they think drugs & drinking is going to solve everything.
It's not new, it's just getting worse.
I would say that about probably 60% of teens in my school, did of are doing some kind of recreational drug.
It's sad but it's true. But most of the teens, either get it from there friends or from there parents(unknowingly of course)
I've tried some stuff before, but the only think I really got addicted to was alchohol.(started when I was 10)and some pain killers.
But, it does horrible things.
Most of the time, it's because they want to escape from reality, or they just can't deal with anything.
