If they are at your door you can request a badge number and contact your local police station.
If you are being pulled over in a car, than the police car should be proof enough, however if you still have doubts or if you are stopped in the streets, I believe you are within you rights to request that you return to the nearest station with them to continue talking. The only problem with this is it may piss them off and any minor offence may no longer be overlooked!

I would ring the Police! seriously, someone just showing you a warrant card like a badge? I wouldnt be able to tell if it was legit or not, I would ring the Police and tell em someones stealing my car, also you could ring them and check their badge number. Good luck.

You can call the police and check on it's validity.
It is a serious offence to have a false warrant card, imprisonable.

they are difficult to tell, like everyone says phone the police if in doubt, but if she pull the card while drunk or just to be an idiot you got them,
when i was a bouncer a drunk copper pulled a warrant card on me and i was on cctv, he got fired for it, and he chinned me bu he hit like a girl so i didnt mind

Read it carfully and you could phone and chach as they should carry a number for you to ring
