is, he has this girlriend, i've felt like we didn't finish the chapter (sex) and i feel that am ready now, mature to not have strings attached after sex.

I think it's a good idea if he's down with it. You never know where it might lead if it's good. I'm about to reconnect with an old friend soon. We never had sex but I always had a crush on her. If the time is right and the need arises, go for it.

I'd ask myself why at this point you're looking back. You don't have to "finish the chapter", just remember the way things were. He has moved on, why would you want to jeapordize his happiness? I don't think you can say there won't be strings attached afterward, because you've obviously got strings still attached now. Find someone else to connect with now and leave the past in the past.

do you think maturity means having no strings attached to sex? I would look at as though you were a girlfriend and your boyfriend's old flame came back into the picture to "finish the chapter".

Not a good idea to pursue the issue solely for the sexual experience...especially if he is involved with someone else. If you are determined, I would tread lightly and wisely and try not to destroy what you have had and wield in a bunch of hurt and hard feelings.

Is it really that important? Is it really worth it?
