is there any pentecostal people on here. if so how do yall believe in wearing pants and shorts to bed and trimming your hair can you give scripture

pentecost is a reliegion ok you can look it up we dont wear pants or cut our hair or wear jewlry

ive been going to a pentecostal church since the day of my birth and in all that time ive never heard the preacher say anything about wearing shorts pants skirst or anything like that i mean it is more respectfull to come to church dressed appropiatly instead of in basketball shorts and mini skirts but the thing is gods not going to make exceptions of people because of the clothes they wear hes not some high school clique but i mean its up to ther person to think r u goin to church or the club?? oh by the way no where in the bible does it say wearing pants or shorts is a sin its just some christian people make it harder on themselves to serve god for no reason. hope this helps
and also nowhere in the bible does it say anything about your hair being a certain way to enter into heaven all it askes is that you confess god as your only savior and that you beleive in him to be saved

No she is specifically speaking of the Pentecostal denominition. Although I am pentecostal myself, I do not come from a church in which we are lawlistic in any manner about wear clothes. However I know that where they have gotten this is from the Old Testement I believe and it was a covanent established with God.
I have to say though that I think Skirts are entirely modest and I enjoy when woman are modest enough to wear them.
However the fact is who cares what you wear to bed... its bed, no one is to uncover you in the night... in the ideal situation. So wear shorts if you like the fact is I doubt God would care... I doubt judgement will come upon you and you'll get scolded for wearing shorts to bed.

Deuteronomy 22:5 look into this, most of what you are looking for can easily be found via google or yahoo for that matter. I used Yahoo, but check out that verse and see what it has to say, it should speak of woman wearing pants at least.

I am apostolic which is just like pentecostal and the women cut their hair. the reason for not cutting hair has to do with the messianic ( not dealing with messiah) covenant that a child offered to God for special purpose is not to cut his/her hair, have alcohol and sum otherthings. also the pants thing, when most of these churches started most women wore skirts and men wore pants becase that was the way off life back then. also long as a women isnt purposly trying to wear look like a man then pants is ok. today's life it is ok. in the bible days there werent pants but their still were diffent ways of dressing. as for the shorts thing, i think that if they are past the knees for a man then they are ok. not ok for women though. to bed i dont think it matters. also keep in mnd that a lot of the things the jews did were just to seperate themselves from other tribes, which is still what what we should do today but not EXTREMELY YOU"RE GOING TO HELL IF YOU DONT important. it is good that you wear skirts and thing.

I'm pentecostal. We wear pants and shorts and not just to bed. I cut my hair whenever it needs it. These are all old practices that have nothing to do with the Bible and were created by some of the older Pentecostals. However, modesty should be used if you are truly a christian.

What are you talking about. Pentecost is when the Holy Spirit came down to the Apostles. What does that have to do with pant, short, and bed?

Wearing pants to bed? At home I don`t but here where I work it is to cold not to.And as for the hair I was in the military long time ago and I still believe short is sweet.Nothing to do with religion at all

my wife is a pentecost and she believes in the holy bible, her hair is long, so as bed goes wear what u like. she does. but the big thing is 2 believe in the holy bible.
