I am sorry, but some of these answers are very immature. Some are great, but glancing thru, you really have to wonder.

One must assume that the average age would be somewhere between 30 and 50. The reason for the age difference is that most young people don't know what "etiquette" means and to give a meaningful answer they must have lived or heard of the "rules of etiquette." I don't think Emily Post is a number 1 writer with the younger generation.

I live for the etiquette questions because I was reared when ETIQUETTE was followed and adhered to in social settings. Now you hear something like "yo---yo mama be a ho"---I really don't think Emily would be too happy with the dialogue. *sigh* Just my opinion. between 30 and 50 I would think. :-)

I don't think there is any age limit. Some of the immature answers are done by people who can be mature, but just answer to get points, not to help the person

There is no age limit.

I have no idea what the average age is.

I am in my 30s. While some people are quite childish in their questions and have problems with writing proper English, overall the place could be much worse.

I'm guessing what you MEANT to say was - what is the average AGE here. Because the average AGE LIMIT does not make sense. I'm 28.
