If there is a dispute, either as to fault or the amount of damages, it can take years for a case to work its way through the court system!

Check with your state Insurance Department. All states have very specific guidelines that must be followed re settlement. If you are not getting any satisfaction a letter to the Ins. Dept. may speed things up as well.

It took 6 months for them to settle in mine.
