ok i dont get it why are yall so jealous and protective? my gf get's so mad when i tlk to a girl other than her for longer tha an hour. like even if i go to visit my ex gf without her she gets so mad i mean it's not like we are going to kiss or anything.

Girls are picky like this reguarding their men because we know how sneaky and manipulative we can be, as women, and we know how deceptive u can be, as men. If you talk to a girl for longer than an hour (or even for half that long), then you are showing her FAR too much attention. U have a woman...there shouldn't be ANYTHING that you 2 have in common enough to talk that long about.

And finally, why in the hell would u go to visit your EX??? That is a major no-no. If she's an EX, that means that the two of you had a past with eachother. Sex was more than likely a factor, and if it happened once, it's likely to happen again.

Let me ask u this...if the tables turned and your gf was the one talkin' to men for hours on top of hours, and goin' to visit her ex's without u, etc...wat would u think? How would YOU feel about that???

To Ruyanette, you seem like someone with insecurity problems to allow men to dog you. Why do some women put men on pedal stools? Like they have to abide by a man's wishes. Dress whorish, learn all the sexual tricks, and let them cheat on you. These are ideas of women before the 1980's and 70's. Women used to allow men to do anything they wanted while they scrub the floors and live pure lives. Don't take **** off of men. You are only being used and abused. One day in your older age, you will wish you didn't allow men to misuse you and you will want a good man, b/c you will be childless, stuck in an abusive relationship and lonely. Perverted people in this world disturbs me. I don't judge. But, life is bigger than me and you. You have a greater purpose on this earth than to seek meager, temporary satisfaction. Think of life in the bigger, more spiritual picture. Where will your spirit be at the time of death? Will all the material and physical things matter than. I don't know the meaning of life, but the petty stuff isn't worth it. I hope you grow and gain enlightenment before it is too late. Sex is over-rated. Spiritual connections are more profound. At the end of the day, what do you really have? Diseases, hurting children, war, poverty, suffering, hunger, evil, all the devils treats. Sweetheart, you are nothing more than a speck in the universe. There are always someone more prettier, sexier, and smatter than you. When you're not looking, someone will snatch the love of your life. The only thing that can keep a couple together and faithful is the Lord's conviction. Other than that you are each others toys. WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU TALK TO A GIRL OTHER THAN YO' GIRLFRIEND FOR MORE THAN A HOUR. I would have dumped you. And we ain't the only ones like that. If yo' girlfriend was over her ex's house "talkin'" for over a hour, wouldn't you be mad. Why wouldn't she be jealous? You not yo' ex's boyfriend no mo'.
First off, what are you and this other girl talkin about anyway?! Are you crazy. If I was yo girl and I found out you was doing some crap like that, I would have cursed you and the girl out and then would have dropped you.! And second, if you wanted to "talk" to the girl and go over her house then why did you break up with her.(I'm trying not to curse you out but it is really hard!) First of all why would you go visit your ex anyways? She is obviously an ex for a reason. And its not just girls that get jealous or protective. You know you would be upset if you girl went to visit her ex or talked to another guy. What do you need to talk to another girl for, especially for over an hour? You should feel lucky you still have a girlfriend.

Now to answer your question.Why would you want to go to see your ex for an hour or longer and why not ask your girlfriend to go along with you. How would you feel if SHE went to her ex for a visit and stayed that long?

I sure wouldn't like it yourself, there should be no reason for you to do that unless you are going to visit your child. And then you should bring that child home with you or have your girlfriend to go and visit with you. Once you have been cheated on, you will understand why it is not right to do stuff like that.

well I love how you throw all women into one catagory and say that ALL of them do this...so minus some points there for being so close minded. Number 2 if you are in a relationship with a woman and talking to a lot of other women then that is usually a big red flag right there that goes up in our minds. Esspecially if it is an ex girlfriend......I mean she is an ex that in my mind shows a little lack of respect and consideration for your current girlfriend's feelings. She could probably give 2 shits if you say it is just innocent and it is not like you are gonna kiss her.....she is still an EX!!!

I don't know your whole situation with your ex is but there's a reason why she's your ex. I highly doubt that you'd be perfectly content and not a tinge jealous of your girl if she went and visited her ex-man without you. I think it's disrepectful of you to do that to your girl. Treat her like a queen; don't hurt her feelings. What business do you have visiting your ex-girl anyway? I may be cynical because I've been cheated on but no one likes to be let down. So don't let your girl down. You sound like you might be a youngin so none of this will sink in when it needs to but one day you might understand. Girlfriends want to be top on your priority list and she feels like she shouldn't have to compete for your attention; you're already her boyfriend for pete's sake. But you should cut off ties with your ex - it ain't healthy.

That's insecurity. At some point in her past, you, or a former boyfriend of hers, or boyfriends of her closest friends did something that has caused her to have an insecurity about fidelity. When a woman feels secure and safe in a relationship, she will not have these concerns.

It may be that you are not fulfulling all her needs, and when she sees you with another woman, it creates stress, anxiety and concern.

It's called being jealous. You shouldn't be talking to your ex about anything, that's why she is your ex. It's a common thing for us girls to get jealous of the guys, sometimes guys can be so fickle (anything with a skirt). You need to relieve your girlfriends mind and stop talking to other girls.
