One reason is that the roads are just more crowded than they used to be and it has become so competitive. Common courtesy has gone by the wayside not only on our streets but in every area of life. All we can do to fight back is to try to demonstrate courteous values.

I'm beginning to think so. Today I saw a person drive thru a red light. People don't even use the Turn signals anymore and just cut right in front of you like they were back in grammer school. Its like a lost art of grammer. I think its because they forgot how to say please and thank you. ever since people forgot to say that to people Courteous driving has gone out the window.

I think it has gotten better, where people will let you out of gas stations at a light in front of them...but of course now you have people stopping in front of GREEN lights to try to wave some idiot out of the wrong lane.

Courteous driving is great, but not when people go against the normal rules of driving to try to be nice!
