Well, if he says, he's probably confused.
One of the most difficult things is to make your happiness not to depend on other's decisions.
Get ready for independent happiness. If He chooses to come back, then he really loves you, if he doesn't don't blame him, a couple is made of two people and the consecuences of what happens in a couple is also made of two parts.
If he decides to stay away, then he was the one with the problem for not being sure of what he wants.

How do you know he still cares about his ex? If they are just friends, that is normal. And guys need some space every once and a while. Don't worry so much.

Give him closure. Drop him and get on with your life. Most of the guys I met are still always in love with their first love and carry a torch for her all their lives. You need someone that loves you for your. Not because he is on the rebound.

Before you get back with him, MAKE SURE he has closure. He needs to have closure with his ex so he can be true to you. People get cheated on when they rush into relationships without closing them first.

Uhhhh...actions speak louder than words. Maybe you need to stop beleiving what he tells you and wait for him to start treating you like you are the best thing that has ever happened to him. Obviously you AREN'T the best thing or he wouldn't want to even talk to his ex...I guess she too is the best thing that ever happened to him. He probably told her that too. Lose the chump.

people can't just turn feelings on and off, she may no longer be his main squeeze but that doesn't mean he has amnesia. whe 2 people have shared a lot together, it is a difficult thing just to forget all those memories. give him some space and some time to fall in love with you. if he doesn't , you will have some good memories to carry to your next relationship.

Guys tend to always seek out the BBD
that's bigger better deal. If he is truly happy then he will be yours.
If the former relationship was a truly close one, he may need time to adjust. Wait it out if you think he's worth it. If not he will either make his choice or move on.

Give the guy room. It takes awhile for someone to get over their exs. I was married for over 20 years.... I hesitate when it comes to re-committing to someone. So... if 3 months is too long, think 3 years... if 3 years is too long, maybe you should move on?
