No I do not feel the same. I am indifferent to death, but would like to go on living...I'm doing great, life is good, thanks for asking.

Your thoughts are just as unlikely as a God in heaven to where we'll go after we die. I don't believe like you do, I believe that this is the only chance at life we have, and when it is over, it is over and we will no longer even be aware of that fact. I think that we should hang on to every moment, good and bad, of this one life because it's the only one we have. And... I'd say it would be logical to hang onto this life, since you cannot predict that you'll get another chance... in case you are wrong I'd stick with the one I've got before prematurely moving on.

Death and life have various levels.
Comparing to the growing vegetable, the mineral is dead.
Comparing to the moving animal, the vegetable is dead.
Comparing to the thinking man, the animal is dead.
Comparing to the ever-living Prophet, the man is dead.
That is why the Prophet calls man to develop his inherent divine qualities to gain rebirth.
And it is miraculous that man is endowed with free-will to make his own choice from the life of the mineral to the life of the Prophet.

Hmm, that doesn't sound much like atheism, though I suppose you can have a belief in life after death without believing in a god. I don't believe in either, in light of the complete lack of evidence for either, and that's why I value this life so highly. I definitely do not welcome death, though I don't fear it right now either.

I am an atheist as well, but I believe that when you die it is just like you were before you were born. Having said that, I am not really excited about death. It just makes me appreciate this life that much more.

So let's see here. You don't believe in God, but you do believe in an infinite number of lives that you have yet to live?
Strange- but enjoy your next life.
I'm enjoying life and not looking forward to the end of my existence.
I belive in life before death, not after it.

I see other belief systems as welcoming death. I am not afraid of it, I know it is a natural part of life but welcome it no. I will do the best to live as well as I can with the time that I have.

You welcome death? Why aren't you killing yourself, then, to find out what happens next?
Don't be a pompous liar. Nobody welcomes death, except the insane and the suicidal. Whether you are an atheist, agnostic or christian, it's very sane, natural and normal to be afraid of the unknown.

Whether you believe in God or not is of no consequence if He really exists. What will you do then? Jesus Christ died for our sins so we can have eternal salvation. He also gives us joy and an abundant life. He is good and merciful. He loves you. Don't give up on life.

Does not sound like you are an atheist as you BELIEVE in life after death...
