Try my favorite: "Toast City". Get out the toaster and put out small bowls of topping like peanut butter, jelly, ham, cheese, tuna salad, you get my drift. If he likes chicken nuggets, get some cold fried chicken and slice it up. Make a game out of trying new things. Get some veggies in there too. Barbecued chicken with a little cole slaw makes a great sandwich.

Finger foods are always a hit. My 5 year old niece also loves anything she gets to help with, such as homemade pizza, hamburger, hot dogs & pretty much anything on the grill - She loves to hold the plate while I turn or marinate & is fascinated by checking to see if its done - under adult supervision of course.

My son likes grilled chicken and potato, or helping me to make homemade chicken nuggets (it's easy, just cut up a chicken breast and get him to dip it in egg white then wheatgerm and put it on a baking tray.) you can serve them with homemade wedges.
What about beans on toast or bread dipped in egg and fried in a little butter, served with ketchup?
Spaghetti bolognese?
Good luck :-)
