flirt and if he asks you out then yeah he wants to be more than friends. but if he doesnt ask him if he likes you (or better than that ask his best friend)

Because he'll either be as bold to tell you or you should ask him how he feels. I just learned that my boyfriend's friend in the military likes me hardcore and me and him would be dating if both of us would have told each other how we felt. So either he goes and he goes. Good Luck.
