Most verses are from the old testament. There is one in the new testament and that is Luke 18 verses 9-14
It is important to note that this verse is dealing with Pharisaic legalism on tithing and it is condemning that take on it.
One does not tithe as we did in the new testament, rather we give according to what we are given from GOD. There are many verses in the new testament that deal with this new covenent of tithing and how we are to care for our Pastors and widows and children and such.
Old testament verses are
Heb 7 verses 1,2 and 6
Gen 28 verse 22
Lev 27 verses 30-33
Num 18 verses 21-26
Deut 12 verses 22-29 and chapter 26 verses 13-15
Lev 27 verses 32 and 33
Neh 13 verses 5 and 12
and Mal chapter 3 verses 7-12
Each one of these verses deals with a different aspect of tithing, some on who they were given to, some on promises made, and still others on where they were to be taken.

Gensis talks about tithes: Cain and Able ( offerings) and Abraham gave to Melchizdek.
The Bible also talks about the storehouses of grain and that people should give their first fruits and grains and animals.
Do you think it is not true?

Malachi 3:8-11
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the L ORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing , that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the L ORD of hosts.

Yes, in Malachai.
Paul says in Romans to give with a loving heart. ...doesn't say anything about tithing. Give what you're happy to give. Most churches don't point that one out... but they LOVE Malichai.

Leviticus 27:30
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD.
