as a precaution i would bring the birth certificate or social security card with the baby's name on it. that's what i did when i flew to ca with my son and he was 9 months. you can call the airlines also to find out for sure. have fun and enjoy your trip.

Call the airline to be sure, but the baby will most likely be identified as your infant child, with possibly a given name to make the computers happy. But your infant child does not need an ID card or driver's license to fly.

God bless America when this becomes an issue.
At any rate, babies are carry-on luggage. Vouch for the little beggar, show some stretch marks if you have to, and you'll both be fine.

You should call the airlines. You will probably be required to provide a birth certificate identifying you as one of the parents.

You should bring a copy of the birth certificate but actually nothing is needed if you don't leave the country.

Even if you don't need one, I would take some means of Identification...birth certificate...I'm sure you are, but I just wanted to point it out.
Call your airport, or a travel agent, it's the only way to be sure.

No, but if you're travelling outside the U.S. the baby needs a passport. Children under 16 years of age need to renew their passports every five years.
