My new neighbor, the moved in two weeks ago. Her and I get along very well. But she has a boy friend that doesnt like me, nor do I like him. But they broke up today.... and i heard him yelling that all the stuff that his bought her since the been going out, he wants back "becasue he bought it" can he take that stuff back? like the bed? a $2000 tv? The car, thats currently under Her name? isnt possesion 90% of the law? I want to help her out! she whats right and whos wrong?

im no lawyer, but it is probably dependent on several circumstances. For example, if they lived together long enough, there may be common law marriage laws, which make the property "community" property, which gives each 50% rights.

What was his before their relationship, is his now.
What was purchased as a gift for her, is hers.

Proving that items were gifts, and not simply household items can be tricky, especially if they were living together.
A car in her name is pretty much hers.
She should call the police if he arrives to take something that she believes is rightfully hers. The police will not allow the property to be taken, which will result in the boyfriend having to file a law suite to get the property back, which puts the burden of proof on him.
