Should I be hanging out with my father in law and this places, or do you think it's a test or could it be used later as leverage in the the future.

Don't do that. If you have to go to strip clubs, better find some other company. You might get questioned by his wife and get pulled in all sorts of things you don't want to be part of. Yes, it could be used as a leverage in the future.
