on July 15. Before you all start pointing the finger & judging her, my sister was trying for a baby & was excited when she found out that she was pregnant. She was forced to have an abortion because the baby that she wanted had been conceived with a disease (i'm not too fond of what it is). The doctor said that the likelihood of this happening to another child that she would conceive are slim to none (actual chances are 1 in 10 million) and that she could begin trying to conceive anytime after the 2 week healing process. At first my sister was depressed but she found her answer to why this happened in god and decided not to give up. On the 29th of July (exactly 2 weeks after) she had unprotected sex and has continued to do so. Today it has been 4weeks & 2days since she had the baby terminated. She has taken 8 pregnancy test. 7 out of 8 test said that she was pregnant however it could be from the pregnancy before (due to the blood). How likely is it that she could be pregnant now? Help!

Not judging. Yes. I did. Having an abortion is like have a period and you should start ovulating about two weeks after the 1st day of your last "period". I had a miscarriage. I was told to not take a pregnancy test for six weeks after my abortion, because it would likely have a positive result.

time to play the waiting game, or go to a doctor

I can't believe a doctor told her to wait only two weeks to get pregnant. A;most all doctors agree you should wait at least three MONTHS after an abortion or miscarriage.

You can conceive as soon as you've had an abortion. If she hasn't had a period yet than I would say, it highly probablr she is pregnant.

trying hard not to judge, but not able to. God gave her that baby for a reason and she threw him/her in His face. had i done what she did i would never forgive myself. all life is sacred. and she's trying to get pregnant again. i'm sorry i feel this way, but i hope she doesn't conceive again. i don't know what kind of disease that baby had and i'm probably speaking out of turn, but only God had the right to take that life. forgive me if i sound harsh but that's how i feel.
