Before you even start reading this post know 3 things.
1) I do not in anyway support child molesting, in fact i find it pretty darn sick.
2) I want you to think about forgiveness, even if you think you can't
3) I am Christian and proud of it, Bless the Lord.
Many of us have debated on is what exactly do child molestors deserve as a consequence for their appalling actions towards our sweet children. I do have a 8 year old daughter of my own and love her very much and it's very hard for me to say this, but God forbid if she were to be molested I think i would have to forgive the molester. I do admit i will feel haterd and anger towards the person that hurt my daughter. I would think about hurting the person. But thinking through this more, don't you think that they deserve a another chance. Now im not saying we don't report it and just let the molester slide. But we have to let the authorities do what they feel is just. What you might think is that it is only just that these monsters.

be tortured and killed, but think about many other crimes that happen in our society today. Rape of women and men, killing, robbery, terrorism,
And i understand if you feel bad for the child who gets raped as i do as well. The bottom line is that the act of rape of anyone is bad. Man, women, boy, girl, rape is wrong. It is stealing something that is not yours to take. We are all children of God. So does this mean he should send every rapist to hell. God is a forgiving and it is not your right to think that child molestors deserve to be tortured or killed. THey will serve their time and hopefully in do time repent for their sins and kneel down to God and ask for forgiveness. A sin is a sin. Many sins are more accountable but to God we are all imperfect. All i have to say is be forgiving. If something like this happened to you or someone you know forgive the person for his sin. We all have sins in the end that we have to ask forgiveness for.
All i have to say is God help child molesto

God didn't create children to be harmed but at the same time god never believed in inflicting physical pain on someone for their actions. If you think that killing the person who hurt you or someone you know then your just as bad. Molesting someone does not kill them. It scars them mentally but killing removes a person with all his or her sins that he or her could have repent for. MAYBE child molestors will always be attracted to children, but they know its wrong, even if they like it they know its wrong to hurt someone. And with god strength they can overcome and block their lust.

Someone dying or not is not anyones decision to make. They deserve just as much chance to redeem themselves no matter what the crime is. Even murder. God created us and it's his choice when he wants to take us away.
With that said my solution is that they be trailed and sent to do time and then sent for mental help.
With all this hate i see it is why the society is what it is today and needs to change.

Forgiveness on a personal level is admirable, on a social level it becomes a different matter.
Child molesters need intensive therapy and rehabilitation and they need to be kept away from children. They are sick individuals who need treatment. Healing.
They don't deserve another chance to be around children. Period. Research suggests that it will always be a problem for them. It's not fair to them or to the children.
We need to be more proactive. We need to learn what causes people to molest and to reach them before they reach their first victim.

The penal system has 4 functions:
1: Protect the public from the bad guy
2: Protect the bad guy from the public (e.g. lynching)
3: Rehabilitate the bad guy to return him to society
4: Exact some sort of retribution or controlled revenge on behalf of victims
Our penal system fails on counts 1 and 3. If criminals were actually
rehabilitated, then it would succeed in protecting society - but it doesn't.
Criminals are frequently returned to the public, often with more
experience in criminality and more sociopathic behavior.
Clearly it occasionally fails on 2, but by and large, the people who go
to prison don't die of other people there, although we sure hear about
it when they do.
That basically means that the only thing that the penal system does
reasonbly well is exact retribution.
However, if we didn't think he would do it again, should someone who
fondles a childs private parts should be sent to jail forever? Does that
seem like reasonable retribution?
The problem is that pedophilia has close to 100% recidivism - if they've
done it once, they'll probably do it again.
Therefore, we need the penal system to protect the public and rehabilitate
which as I said before, it is notoriously bad at doing.
If we could flip a switch and a pedophile would cease having this
desire - well, I guess I don't feel it my place in the world to exact retribution.
I guess Its an illness and we don't punish people for being ill.
However, there is no switch to flip. Right now, the only way we have
of reliably protecting society from pedophiles is to lock 'em up. People
have talked about chemical castration, tracking pedophiles with GPS, etc.
but there is no perfect solution.
If chemical castration worked, I would select that over of trying to punish.
I thought we were supposed to leave stone casting to the big guy, right?

Forgiveness and letting them get away with it are two different things. I can forgive someone while they are serving life in prison. I do not believe they should be given another chance to hurt another child. And don't you believe for a minute that they will change. I don't give a rat's booty what some psychologists say on this subject. The only remorse they show, IF they even admit to the action, is remorse at being caught.

My granddaughter is now 12. She was 6 when molested by a 15 yr. old relative. Charges were pressed against him as a minor . He went to therapy for 1 yr. Since he was a minor, no one knew what he done. He went on to school every day just as if he did nothing. He is now married and his wife thinks it's all a lie.My granddaughter still goes to therapy and takes about 4 pills 3 times a day. She has many mental hangups because of what he done. I don't think child molestors are penalized hard enough .There is a country across seas that cuts a man's privates off in case of child molestion and I go along with them. U.S. is not , NOT, hard enough on child molesters. I, too,am a Christian.

I believe they should be locked up, if not for life than very close to. I also believe that they should be identified somehow so that the general public is aware of the crime that they have committed. I don't believe in physical harm or the death penalty or anything like that, but I do believe in consequences for your actions, and that person should not be allowed to continue on in society without some sort of serious retribution.

Forgiving them is one thing, giving them a second chance is something else entirely. They deserve forgiveness if for no other reason than we are commanded to forgive in the Bible. They DO NOT deserve another chance. I have taken classes on this subject and read many books. The evidence is overwhelming that child molesters do not reform their behavior.

DEATH. Very slow & as painful as the imagination can concieve. Forgivness can NEVER undo the torture they inflict on their victims nor cure the emotional problems that they have to endure for the rest of their lives. I don't want my tax dollars keeping these creatures alive & then releasing them back into the community so they can commit their foul, unspeakable acts upon some other poor child. KILL THEM ALL !!!

I say life in prison forget letting them slide with a death penalty. How could you forgive someone who put a child through hell and will greatly suffer from it. Not to mention the mental disorders that could form.

Thats easy--Death! You can forgive them but that does not mean they should not die for what they have done. They have ruined some child forever and the price they pay should be equivalent--even if shorter and less painful as long as they are dead and cannot do it again.
