Crazy Crust Pizza
(I've enjoyed making this with my mom since I was very little. The crust bubbles up, making it really fun!)
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2/3 cup milk
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a rimmed pizza pan or baking sheet.
In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt, oregano and black pepper. Mix in eggs and milk; stir well. Pour batter into prepared pan and tilt until evenly coated. Arrange toppings of choice on top of batter.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until crust is set.
Remove crust from oven. Drizzle on pizza sauce and sprinkle on cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.

I use various pizzas bases- another idea besides all the great ( and amusing ones) above- is to buy one of those soft unsliced fresh loaves- cut a thick slice off-- toast it slightly both sides- take out. Top with a ready made pizza sauce ( or homemade) , add cheese, add favorite toppings- this can even include slices of boiled eggs, shrimps, strips of chicken, sausages- top with olives - some kids add slices cheese too on top. Put in oven. Turns out delicious.

When my 5 year old niece comes over, we buy a Boboli's ready made crust & then do our own toppings. I cut the veggies for a supreme & she "decorates" the pizza. She prefers cheese & pepperoni, so she loves to make designs & faces on "her" own pizza....Great quality time as well!

I always use purchased fresh dough from my favorite Italian
restaurant. They are very happy to sell it to you, generally
cheaper than the local grocery store.
good luck

Your best bet is to look for some tortilla flour mix that is complete and all you have to do is add water to it.
