Go to the Animal Shelter or Humane Society! They have lovely dogs and puppies, many pure-bred or mixes of the ones you indicated, and they REALLY need your help and love!
Also, the people that suggested breed rescue organizations were RIGHT on the money! The way you find them is simple, go to a search engine and type in "Chihuahua Breed Rescue Organizations" and then email them directly.
But please ONLY get a dog, any dog, if you are sure that you can commit to caring for it with medical care at the vet's, food, water, and that you have enough time and energy and desire to keep it for the next 16-18 years...(little dogs can live a LONG time). It is expensive to keep a pet in the condition that it must be kept...so do a financial check before you take on this new little life that will depend upon you for everything!
Good luck!

Go to places like an animal shelter. Sometimes they just give the pets away for free. Or search in the newspaper. If you make a few phone calls you can meet up with the owner and you can get your pet in a few hours to a few days. Or go to the pound. Dogs there are usually way under $200.

Be very careful if you get a dog for "cheap". There are backyard breeders that advertise in the penny saver or newspaper that are reputable, but some are not. We got 2 puppies from a very nice lady, but they had parvo and one died. These "cheap" dogs cost us over $1000 in vet bills. We were lucky that this particular breeder offered to refund us the money for the dogs, but she didn't think she needed too help us out with the vet bills as she isn't a licensed kennel. You should check out the puppy lemon laws on that in your state/county/city.
If you want a "cheap" dog that should be healthy, hook up with a rescue in your area. When they understand your want of a good dog and know that you will love it to death, they will work very hard to find the right dog for you.

if u want a purbreed its gonna cost more than 200 and depending on what kind of dog it is the price goes up........when i was 5 ( i am now 23) i got my dog from North Shore Animal League in Port Washington NY.... all i did was give a $15 donation and i recieved a puppy of my choice.. he was( he died last year at 17.5 years old) a german shepard mixed with a basset hound ( basset hound size with german shepard features and floppy ears) its one of the worlds largest no kill shelters... if u go to their site nsalamerica.com it tells u prices for adoptions...i also don't know where u live, you would have to research it a little bit...i would suggest a shelter because..... most people adopt a pet because they are cute, and then realize they are alot to take care of so they give them back to the shelters...... they are no kill shelters so the dogs stay there till they are adopted. sometimes they have dogs that have puppies there so u might find a little accessory puppy there...STAY AWAY from petstores.. they breed dogs there to make money and they breeed them so much they get sick some are even retarded they are called puppy mills... so look in ur area to find a no kill shelter...good luck .......p.s. click or copy paste this link to have your very own puppy...she's really cute!!

Animal shelter, or petfinder.org. There are TONS of little dogs that meet those descriptions, and you'll pay a lot less than 200 (though it'll end up being that much after you get it checked out and vaccinated, if you get it at the shelter).

check the newspaper. Breeders sometimes listing their puppies for sale there at a more discounted price. However, it's going to be really hard to buy a purebred for under $200, I've seen the kinds of dogs you're talking about at pet shelters.

Check with NARF r NIKE animal rescue. They have tons of adoptable dogs all year round. I adopted a beautiful great dane/Mastiff mix severa years ago. They really screen the adoptor and make sure it is a good fit

Go to you local shelter and ask the caretakers if they have one to save...if not, there is a petfinder network that will list types of dogs in the area up for adoption that you can love and save from life in the shelter.....good luck!!!

The Humane Society has reasonable adoption fees. You could check out petfinder.org as well. I haven't seen any of the breeds you want listed under $300 for a while now....

Go to the animal shelter. Give a poor dog a home. Save one from euthanasia.
