If you hit .5% you have a good chance of dying from alcohol poisoning. So take it easy.

You couldn't and still be alive. A BAC of 50% means that 50% of your 'blood' is alcohol. You can't live at that level.

"Okay, so what does 35% alcohol and 70 proof mean on the bottle?" 35% alcohol does not refer to your BAC but rather the percentage of alcohol in that particular liquid. The higher the percentage, the more alcohol the liquid contains.

Drinking a standard drink of this would not turn your BAC to 35% and drinking 2 drinks of it does not make it 70% or 140 proof. An 8oz drink that contains 35% alcohol will get you drunk faster than an 8oz drink that contains 10%, but again, drinking 2 would not give you a 70% drink and would not turn your BAC to 70%. It simply means that of every 100 parts of the liquid, 35% is alcohol. 65% is something else.

Alohas

For you to attain a Blood Alcohol Content of 50%
you would have to drain all your blood out first and then mix an Equal amount of pure 200 proof Alcohol Upon returning it to the body You would promptly Die From Alcohol poisoning..

I might note that .08 of 1 percent of body mass and weight is considered legally Drunk in many States in the US. This can be acheived by a 150 lb person by drinking about 160ml of Smirnoff Vodka of 100 proof.

First of all, you'd be dead way before that...but it would depend on the size/weight of the person drinking your vodka and some dr's say on the sex and age of the person too (since men and women's bodies r different, and because people's livers don't develop fully until about age 21[in case you're wondering y the legal age is 21!]) Btw, 35% doubled = your 70 proof.

there is no one in history to have reached 50% bac. most of them that have reached 5% have died. 70 proof means 35% alcohol. if you take the proof and divide it by 2, that is the percentage of alcohol. the percentage means that out of what is in that bottle, that percentage is alcohol, the other percentage is flavoring and usually water.

You can't. You will die long before you reach a BAC of 1%. Remember, it's permille, not percent, we usually use for BAC. 1 percent = 10 permille.

As for how much you need (theoretically), it's pretty simple. One drink is 4cL = 0.04 L. Assuming alcohol weighs the same as water (it doesn't, but who cares), one drink contains 0.35 * 0.04 L * 1 kg/L = 0.014 kg alcohol. Assuming you weigh 75 kg, and your body contains 80% water, you need 75kg * 0.80 / 2 = 30 kg alcohol. 30 kg / 0.01 kg/drink = 2143 drinks.

Unfortunately, with 2143 drinks, you will also gain a lot of water. Even if you don't die from alcohol poisoning, you will probably die from all the water.

Legally drunk in most areas is either .08 or .10...that is 10% for legal drunkeness. Over .25 is nearly dead, or already dead. I don't think you can get much higher than that without dying. I'd advise somewhat strongly against trying for a 50%.

likely rather inebriated for an 11th grader. criminal reduce the following is .08 and that i blew a .14. Technically i become rather a lot two times the criminal reduce. in spite of the undeniable fact that I drink rather frequently and become in hardship-free words particularly buzzed. in spite of everything, a .24 must be rather inebriated even to the avid drinker.

most people die at a blood/alcohol content of .35, and will never remember anything past a .28.
