okay u like him? u don't need to worry since he hasn't asked out. And b, it's real easy, u just say no. And how do u know he likes u if he hasn't asked out? How do u know he's a different religion? Why?

Invite him to go to church with you and stay on his case until he does. Tell him your first date with him will be to go to church with you. If he refuses, then you have to make a hard choice, as to what is most important to you. He may convert to you religion if he likes you enough, if he doesn't, then he probably wasn't right for you in the first place.

well... what you should really be asking yourself is, why wont you give him a chance? are you racist as well? i dont see the difference in discriminating against someone for their religion and discriminating against someone for their ethnicity...
but, if you insist on being close-minded, just say no, and dont forget to mention it's because of his religion. i guarentee he wont be back for a second try. and chances are the word will spread and most guys won't go in for first tries.

Explain to him why you can't date him, that your religion is different than his, and while you do like him, a relationship wouldn't work.

Be honest tell him you want to be friends, but that you can never be more than that because of your religious differences. This will be easier in the long run for both of you.
