my daughter was bitten by what we think was a spider on the back of her leg while she was in the garage.It is swollen about an inch or two in dia.and is hard What should I give her to take the swellen down and to get it better

Hi,,, give her a benadryl.... and take her to the doctor.....Now ! it might be a brown recluse or black widow... if the whole leg or part is swollen......

Get her to a doctor. She needs penicillin. Spider bites are a mild poison. Some can be deadly depending on the type of spider. It Probably won't kill her but it sounds like she needs more than just over the counter stuff..

A guy I work with had a spider bite it swelled up was all red he went to hospital and had to have it cut open and drained if I remember correctly he was also on some type of medication for a day or two. probably wont heal it's self

You need to take her to the doctors. Some of those spiders are very dangerous. Don't mess around with something like that.

first off, do you know what kind of spider bit her? If it's a brown recluse or black widow- you need to go to the doctor. I think going to the doctor would be the best choice for you. Better to be safe than sorry.

Don't even mess with it, just go to the doctor. Been bit before, they are nothing to mess with. If you will email me I will send you pictures of what they look like IF you don't go to the doctor.

Children's Benedryl maybe. i would call the Dr and talk to a nurse.
