you should open it first, it wont burst as bad incase you forget about it. about 45 to an hour will make it pretty slushly like.

That takes too long....here's a better way. take a bowl big enough for the soda to be submerged in and put ice in it then cover with cold water. It chills the soda so much faster. Takes about 5 minutes. Putting in the freezer takes like half an hour.

If you dont want to use a glass and ice and have a instant cold drink than put your can in the freezer for no more than 40 minutes.
