I grew up on the east coast. I absolutely love thunder and lightening. The awesome power and beauty is spell binding ! As a child we lived through many " blackouts", due to the thunder and lightening storms. we often had to eat and bath by candle light in order to carry on with what needed to be done until the storm was over. I can remember hearing the thunder and when lightening would strike my mother would tell us 5 kids that the angels in heaven were bowling and they got a strike. Often in my teenage years I can recall hearing the thunder and then within minutes hearing the sirens from the fire trucks squealing towards the house that had been hit by the lightening and was on fire! The thunder & lightening storms are one of the things I miss most about living on the east coast. There is nothing like a good thunder storm!

I live in Oklahoma when we get a thunderstorm we run to a storm cellar. This is tornado alley.
Do we like thunder storms not really.
Unless being crammed in a cement hole with half the town turns you on. One second thought we have had some good times down there.

I really really really love em...yeah they're romantic and scary which makes a very cool combination and i just love to sleep with my boyfriend in and out, that's just awesome
