I've got Perth resdidence Visa's and my family and I intend to emmigrate next July.I would like to know how much time we would be able to spend outside of Australia but not to cause a problem when we apply for citizenship after two years?

Get in touch with DIMA, they will be able to give you the right information.
All I know is that you have to have spent 2 yrs cumulative in Australia, before being eligible for citizenship. I have also heard that they are planning to change the required time to 3 yrs.
