No, they never did that and I don't do it to my children either. I would rather have them waste some food than be fat.

Yeah, my mum always put too much on my plate and she'd make me cry if i didn't eat it all...i hardly ever did so i was sent to my room.
I asked her why she did that recently and she said it was cause i was so small. When i was a baby, she apparently had to feed me milk with a teaspoon and give me toys to play with during so i'd eat, and then i'd sick it back up...just to spite her lol, she'd have to start over again. Strange how i hated food when i was little, i'm such an unfussy eater now and if there's food on the plate, i feel compelled to finish it.

Sort of, and no that's not good. I hated eating and even today I'm skinny, although I don't hate food of course. My daughter doesn't eat at all either. I guess it's almost like a cycle. I try to force her because she is so skinny and never wants to eat, but it's making her eat even less. Forcing is never a good idea! Encouraging is better, but it's also like nagging and that becaomes irritating.

yeah....my dad was...to be honest that's why i can never eat porkchops again....my dad wouldn't let me leave the table until i ate everything....so i literally stayed there from 5-9 30.....with the plate in front of me......eventually i threw up and my dad called it a night....for the next few years i wouldn't even sit down at the dinner table with my dad unless my mom was there......i never had porkchops again...and that had to be about 10-11 years ago

(i'm 18 now) hell i was 5 8 and 210lbs...now i'm 5 8 and 188lbs....

Yes, and you don't shake that off easy. Here I am 36 mother of 2 and someone offered me a fork of their food cause I have never tried it( why did I Tell them) and zip, there I go, both hands over my mouth and saying hun-un(muffled speak for no no) in the middle of a fancy restaurant. Please don't force feed your kids.
