I'm mexican, I'm not US citizen, but I have a Work Visa, and I'm 100% LEGAL, just because I'm mexican are you against me also? or just against my illegal fellow citizens

Thank you for going through the correct procedures. I hope things go well for you, but there is a big difference between you and illegals who are coming into the country, getting money and goods and not having to pay taxes.
I went to bankruptcy court with my cousin (which I really think is despicable, but she was disabled and could no longer work)and there were 2 Mexicans there actually filing bankruptcy with admitted false SS#'s and no taxes to show because they had not payed any in the years they had been here.
There was a man that was taking notes up by the judge. I asked my cousin's attorney who he was. She said he was there because there were illegals that do file and he was there to pick them up.
Can your imagine?! How could someone actually sneak into the country, take advantage of the people, start up a business with fake id's, not pay any taxes on it, and then go to bankruptcy court so they don't have to pay the bills they have run up?!
I wonder if we just deported them or put them in jail.
I have some really good Mexican (not Hispanic, they about shot me for that one) friends and they feel the same way about illegals. Sometimes they feel all this reflects back to them. I hope not. They are very good people and very good friends.

Oh dear, it's rather sad if you've been led to believe that people who are against illegal immigration somehow are against all Mexicans ... that is, and has never been, the case. If you are here legally, then everything is fine and dandy. Hope you enjoy your job and your stay in the U.S!

No, of course not. I don't even care who the heck you are as long as you're here legally. I'm against illegals. I'd even be against (insert a very popular adored person here) if they were illegal.

When here legally, I don't think any LEGAL American has issue with someone who is Hispanic.
It is the illegals and those who protested IN AMERICA while carrying the flag of Mexico that irked many.

I have a question that you'd might have an interesting perspective about.
Say that the U.S gov't gave immigrants the option of citizenship if they serve in Iraq and possible Iran in the future. Would people of your nationality still want to come to America?
